Kate is a qualified Occupational Therapist and had over 5 years of experience working with people with a range of disabilities across acute and community care before joining Equal Access. After pursuing some further studies in design she developed an interest in Inclusive and Universal Design.
Kate aims to combine her experience as an Occupational Therapist with her interest in design in order to advocate for people with disabilities, ensuring equal opportunities to access and participate in the built environment. She is working to provide specialist access advice for building compliance without losing sight of the functional needs of people with disabilities.
